Introduction

For those who are visiting for the first time

Santhigiri Ashram was established by Navajyothi Sree Karunakara Guru, who was born into a humble family at Chandiroor and, after long years of spiritual effort, founded the Ashram to practise the Yuga Dharma of this age.

The Ashram teaches that spirituality is the essence of a person — beyond life, death, belief and custom — and that it is realised through the relationship of Guru and disciple. Its doors are open to everyone, irrespective of religion or background.

The books and magazines on this website carry that teaching in print and online. If you are new, begin with the titles in “Begin with these books” below.

“Word is Truth, Truth is Guru, Guru is God.”
